Chuck Sanders named interim journal editor

CSB Investigator Chuck Sanders, Ph.D., has been named interim editor of the journal Biochemistry. His appointment follows the death of CSB colleague Richard Armstrong, Ph.D., professor of Biochemistry and Chemistry, who had served as the journal’s editor-in-chief since 2004.

Biochemistry is an eminent journal for publishing research articles about the molecular structure, mechanisms and interactions of important biological molecules. Dr. Sanders, who has served as an associate editor of the journal, joins a distinguished group as only three individuals have served as editor in its 55-year history. He will serve as interim editor until a new editor-in-chief is named.

Dr. Sanders is professor of Biochemistry and Medicine and the Aileen M. Lange and Annie Mary Lyle Professor of Cardiovascular Research. Read more about his appointment in The Reporter.
